We offer hour long group fitness sessions with a focus on strength and conditioning. We utilise bodyweight exercises and unconventional exercise equipment to provide fun, dynamic, and challenging sessions that will leave you gasping for breath, sweating buckets, but loving every minute of it.
We cater to all shapes, sizes, ages, and gender providing progressive modifications for every exercise so that people of all fitness levels can achieve new heights at their own pace. No workout is the same. We pride ourselves on bringing you a new experience at every session. All you need is a towel, a drink bottle, and a positive attitude.
No more wandering round the gym looking at yourself in the mirror… time to experience training in its most raw and primal form… time to unleash your inner gladiator.

 

MEET THE TEAM

Joe comes from a strong sporting background in Athletics and rugby. He played representative rugby in Auckland, Canterbury, Southland, Leicester, and Glasgow. A serious knee injury forced Joe into early retirement from Professional rugby and he has since dedicated his life to the development of Ludus Magnus and the cultivation of the Ludus Lifestyle. Favourite exercise – The Burpee, Favourite Food – Chop Suey and Taro, Favourite workout song atm – On the Dancefoor (David Guetta).

Phil comes from a strong martial arts and gymnastics background, and has been involved in sport and training all his life. Phil has also dedicated his life to the development of Ludus Magnus and is committed to introducing the masses to the benefits of living a healthy, balanced, Ludus Lifestyle. Favourite exercise – The Burpee, Favourite Food – Pizza, Favourite Workout Song atm – Gabriel (Joe Goddard).

Sarah is our resident administrator keeping everything at Ludus running like a well-oiled Conan’s wheel. Favourite exercise – Commandos, Favourite Food – Chicken Satay, Favourite workout song atm – I’m sexy and I know it (LMFAO).

Billy is our MR FIX-IT, he does everything from shifting mats, to cleaning the showers, to painting the blackboards. Favourite exercise – Vacuum Shuffle, Favourite Food – Pork Belly, Favourite Workout Song – Ten guitars.

Swan-Lynn is our night-class receptionist catering to all the needs of our Ludus night owls. Favourite exercise – Box Burpee, Favourite Food – Japanese, Favourite workout song atm – Moves like Jagger.
