Owner and founder
Joe is a talented actor, standout rugby player and personal trainer. He is a highly respected elite trainer, working with sports teams such as the All Blacks and the NZ Warriors. His training style uses functional pieces of equipment including sledgehammers, tires, and kettlebells while using body weight with creative versatile exercises. His workouts will leave you gasping for breath, sweating buckets, but loving every minute of it.

At Ludus Magnus the Price is always right. That’s because the Ludus Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jason Price spent 10 years in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. “Pricey” has been passionate about sport since his school days in Southland where he played rugby for the province through the age groups. Ludus has become a passion for Jason since bringing the Blues down to train with Joe way back in 2011.
